Questions

Ticket FAQ

Can I buy tickets at the venue?
No. All gallery and stand seats are sold online, on this site only. There are no counters and no physical cards to collect.
Is the ticket transferable?
No — each ticket carries the holder’s name and the last digits of the ID given at booking, both checked at the gate.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable. If the Committee cancels an event, that ticket is refunded in full to the original payment method within 14 days.
Why does entry close before the event starts?
So that everyone with a numbered seat is seated before the procession leaves the Palace. Arrive early; the time is printed on your ticket.
Someone is offering me a VIP pass.
VIP, official and media seats are allotted by the Dasara Committee and never sold. A pass offered for sale is not genuine — report it on 1077.
I have a Gold Card from an earlier year — is it valid?
No. Cards are issued for one year only.
