Use of the site

This website is published by the Mysuru Dasara Committee, Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, to inform visitors about the festival. By using it you accept these terms. Information is provided in good faith; schedules, timings and venues can change at short notice and the Committee’s published notices take precedence over this site.

Content and copyright

Text, the Dasara emblem, the Gajju and Ammu mascots and the site design are © Mysuru Dasara Committee. Photographs are credited to their owners and may not be reused without permission. Material may be reproduced free of charge for personal, educational or news use, accurately and with attribution; commercial use requires written permission from the Secretariat.

Dasara Ticket terms

  • Tickets are issued to a named person and must be shown with photo ID at the gate; they are not transferable.
  • Tickets are non-refundable except where an event is cancelled by the Committee, when that element is refunded in full within 14 days.
  • Seats are numbered where stated; entry closes 30 minutes before the procession leaves the Palace.
  • The Committee may refuse entry or remove any person for conduct that endangers others, and may alter timings, venues or programmes for reasons of weather, security or the auspicious muhurta.
  • Bag checks apply at every enclosure. Prohibited items are listed on the ticket.

Liability

The Committee does not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on the site’s content, from its unavailability, or from the acts of third parties. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts at Mysuru, Karnataka.
